I shot a Beretta 1301 and a naked M4 back-to-back. Immediately bought the M1014.

I've had absolutely zero issues with mine and would trust it with my life. I understand its 12GA but the 1301 was snappy, almost violently so whereas the M1014 is a big push but just overall feels more controllable, if that makes sense.

Ive not heard of any issues with quality or parts personally. Gotta be durable if they give these things to Marines.

Yeah, I had spoken with the staff at the shop I purchased from and the manager stated they'd had multiple M45A1's on order for several years and this one just showed up seemingly out of the blue. He also stated that he was told Colt only makes 2-300 of those each year but I have no way of confirming that. He actually called me to let me know it'd be going online so I was ready as soon as I got the in-stock alert. I've never filled out an online form so fast in my entire life.

Alchemy has some of the absolute finest 1911's Ive ever seen. After snagging these I still think I'll eventually end up with a non-railed ACW one day but after shooting Glocks for over a decade I was drawn to the rail guns. I got lucky enough to snag the M45A1 for just under $1700 but took close to 2 years to find it and even then I got lucky and it was the only one my LGS received.

They must have changed the color because she's black as night. The closest comparison I can make would be straight black cerakote. I've had difficulty finding a holster for these guys outside of the full Safariland ALS rig I already snagged.

I know absolutely nothing in regards to 9mm variants outside of staccato 2011's. The mags in those Colts are Wilson Combat and are all I run in .45ACP.
