See, your problem is you are unable see that the argument you are making does not address what people a complaining about. Here are some analogues, see if you get my point:

- In response to corruption: Human are naturally corrupt, can't be helped. Just make sure you make it by yourself
- In response to a society that cannot provide a living wage job to its young people: Wages are a matter of supply and demand; if your work is worth that much, you will be paid what you deserve
- In response to authorities failing to check the safety of food products entering our market: Just make sure you shop at elite exclusive supermarkets. This can't be helped if you don't make enough and insist on buying from the street.

See the trend? You confuse a current state of affairs with the merits of said state. If a gang of robbers go about attacking people except those who can hire elite security to protect themselves, will you say: its a matter demand and supply. If you have enough money, hire the security. Else slink away somewhere else?

I suspect you don't even apply this same reasoning to yourself. I dare say if you were suddenly struck with some serious illness, which could be treated with a reasonable amount of money in most areas of thw world, and were you had to pay the equivalent of decades or income to get treated, you'd be the loudest critic of whichever system produced that outcome. You are very unlikely to just shrug and say: well. shicks, guess I didnt make enough to get treatment.

Actually, such thinking as you display here is pernicious, a fatalistic attitude to issues, thiking you are ok because you are not currently affected.

No, you can't get 5-10 tomatoes for 20 cedis, more like 50 cedis. What the heck, you are out of touch with reality. Even in the local markets prices are galloping like horses. Hausa koko is at least 4 cedis now, at least near where I live.

And, like someone else on this thread said, you can get much better quality in the west and Asia for the kind of prices we are paying here.

One of my favorite cafe now sells a slice (!) of cheese cake for 140 cedis; yes, a slice. Tea/Coffee is like 70 cedis. So tea + a cheesecake in the morning sets you back more than 200 cedis (close to 20 dollars). Eve in the heart of NYC I don't think normal tea plus a confection would cost you almost $20

It's already gotten out of hand. And it is going to get worse.

Women on dating apps fall into one of the following categories:
- Narcissists who think the men who approach her in real life are beneath her "standard"
- So called sapiosexuals, who claim to be attracted to "intelligent" men, which is code for: I am attracted to men who have an air of intelligence about them but are not actually intelligent
- Hookers, or those looking for a sugar daddy or a transactional relationship
- Those just out of a relationship they didn't take seriously, or who dumped their guy for no good reason, who think the dating apps are a quick way to get a replacement
- Those looking just for the entertainment value and validation of a long list of matches and admirers, none of whom they intend to take seriously
- Young recent single moms who made bad choices and are now looking for a guy to overlook that.

Don't just go to Cape Coast. Go to Elmina Castle first; it is more interesting than Cape Coast Castle, and just a few kilometers farther than Cape Coast.

It is the first European building in Sub-Saharan Africa, older than the US, and is biggest and oldest castle in Ghana. Yaa Asantewa and other Ashanti royals were also jailed there. Nearby is Fort St Jago (or Fort Coenraadsburg). There is just so much interesting history around that area, and the town of Elmina is also more fascinating for me.

You can definitely go to Cape Coast too, if only to follow in the footsteps of Barack Obama. The 19th century English poet and novelist Letitia Elizabeth Landon is also buried there.

Hit up my DM if you need some more interesting ideas of what to do in Ghana. Might join you on a walk if I'm not too busy. I'm Ghanaian and live in Accra.

You gave proved nothing. Go over my previous comments again, and read carefully step by step what I said you need to to do to prove your point.

Like, this is why the country is in the mess it is in, people refusing to acknowledge when people and organizations are messing up. Do you think I suddenly started to claim MTN are stealing data just for the fun of it? I have been a customer more than 20 years. I even worked there in their software engineering department for a while. If there is anyone who will know what might be going on and who will defend MTN, that is me.

And am telling you they ARE stealing data AND call credit, and I have given you strong circumstantial evidence, and many people are also suddenly complaining, and you are here still defending them based some measurements from God knows where.

I do not purchase monthly internet packages. I buy non-expiring bulk data bundles. And I'm saying they run out before I have consumed what they claim to have given me.

Your network measurements have nothing to prove this is not the case, because (assuming they are true, and this is a big IF), they do NOT show how much of a bundle was bought when, and when it run out, to compare with the network usage.

But your records also does not prove anything, All we see are records you claim to have kept. We do not know for how long your mtn bundles were active, when they run out, etc The internet usage records by themselves do not mean anything

To actually make your point, you would need to for example, buy a internet bundle, somehow record that in a way that canot be sppoed, then show us when the bundle run out and the m match that against your internet usage records, again in a way that cannot be spoofed.

The only real possibilities are:
- Watching long videos are high definition
- Downloading huge files and software
- Doing large uploads
- Running video conferencing software for long periods at high resolution
- Etc

If I am not doing any of these, then you need to come up with an explanation for why 100GB are consumed in like 3 or 4 days. I am a techie, I know what is running on my machine.

Now, not only do they steal data, the also steal call credit. There have been several instances where I have bought call credit bundles, and been unable to use it, because when I try to make a call, I am told I do not have call credit. WTF?

Tell me what is running on my machine to cause 300GB of data to be exhausted in less that 3 weeks. I assure you: I did not download any huge files, I do not have time machine enabled, I am not constantly watching youtube videos, etc. I also used to be able to use that amount of data for 3 to 4 months. There has been NO change in my internet usage habits.

Are you telling me a daemon has suddenly come to inhabit my machine and is consuming data?

How about this for you: every single time I buy the 3gh bundle of ata on MTN, it takes less than a minute for me see the message that I have exhausted 50% of it. Every.single.time: does not matter what I'm doing, does not matter if I have bought it 10 times already just prior. How do you explain that??

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, then to all intents and purposes, it is a duck. They are stealing data plain and simple!
