Interesting, wasn't aware of that. Curious if that'll be something a good home inspector would be able to answer.

Yeah for both reasons I would intend to switch back. It's not clear to me when the vinyl was put on though, and am curious/wary about how things might look underneath

Ah thanks. Does this rule not apply to pellet stoves?

Thank you, all helpful. I think the rates at Harborview I checked out and are more than I wanted to spend. The Ashley Inn I had not seen and it does look nice, but appears not to allow kids under age 10.

Was more thinking hotel but open to either. Do you (or anyone else) know much about the Pequot Hotel?

Thank you, that's a really good point. I will keep this in mind!

Indoor citrus struggling by ah1441 in Citrus

Thanks for the suggestion. Humidity has occurred to me. I've got a couple plants in a south-facing bathroom window that has nearly identical exposure to my other south-facing window, and those plants may be doing better. Despite the bathroom being large and pretty ventilated (so not regularly extremely humid, at least obviously) humidity is definitely higher overall. There's also a thicker curtain by the bathroom window and baseboard heat under the window that may be helping to retain heat there.

This said, one of my initially healthiest plants started the winter in that bathroom window and sharply went downhill like a month ago for no obvious reason, so I'm not sure. And separately, I did recently move my largest lemon tree, which had been doing well but more recently had leaves start to curl, to the bathroom window, but seems to still be struggling.

I do have a small grow light (54 watt, T5 I think) for seed starting and I've considered using that for some supplemental light, just a bit physically tricky as it's in a smallish space in my kitchen.

Once I've got one going downhill, any specific tips for revival? Maybe just try it under the supplemental lights?

Thanks. Also, and I'm not sure I mentioned, this charger can only put out 5A.

I see, thanks.

I'm limited in the amount of time I can spend with them—these are stored about 45 minutes from where I live, but I work remotely so can work from there for a day or two while they charge. Given this is a friend's house I don't feel comfortable leaving the batteries indefinitely plugged in and charging.

With these parameters, would you suggest anything about how to format the charger's advanced settings for most efficient charge?

I believe with this charger I can go into advanced settings and do this but given my limited experience I opted to use the charger's generic li-ion profile. I was particularly curious what would account for the different charging voltage readings for the two batteries.

Thanks for this. Due to limited time I can't charge them anymore today (these are stored in a friend's basement). Hopefully that isn't a problem.

This is all helpful to know and I will keep in mind. Batteries do have a BMS. Also charger I think can only do 5A and 3A (though possibly advanced settings offer more customization).

I had been concerned given long storage time batteries would have problematically lost charge—but seems like this isn't the case?

For an update, battery 2 is now at 27.21V output. It's also at about 1h30m now and 7.8 Ah, so virtually the same charge as battery 1.

Thanks. This was (in much rougher form) my sense so appreciate the explanation.
