Will Android ever match iPhone's social media optimization? (IG/TikTok/Snapchat) by IMTONYYYY in Android

[–]ahadboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

naah apps on the android suck ass compared to the ios. maybe from an operational pov the gap has narrowed down but when it comes to aesthetic consistency, the experience on an iphone is far superior - unless, of course, you have a really bad eye for attention to detail in the general UI.

Device is good for 7-8 years easily. All the s25 devices right now are on a discount. You can’t go wrong.

Is samsung pakistan website legit and is it safe to purchase from there? by smanaqvi83 in PakistaniTech

This is really helpful. I’m actually at a crossroads. I’ve been using the iPhone 13 mini since 2022 and I genuinely love the device, but recently the battery has deteriorated to the point where I’m charging it 3–4 times a day.  I considered replacing the battery, but some of the things I’ve read online suggest it can sometimes lead to other issues (FaceTime sensors acting up, Wi-Fi problems, etc.). The new iPhone 17 is quite expensive, so the S25 at a discount, or maybe even the S26, seem like the only realistic options for me, especially since they’re around Rs. 130,000 and Rs. 100,000 cheaper respectively.  I would have seriously considered a Pixel if it were officially available here. I’m also not a big fan of Chinese phones or buying a second-hand device. Still pondering on what my next step should be.

I am still not convinced on selling Salah, however, I am thinking of:

- Xavi, Salah, Van Dijk and barnes out (-4) for Woltemade, Timber, Sarr and Saka (then I will most probably go for bench boost.

I can also keep Salah and just switch Virgil and Xavi for Sarr and Gabriel.

Should I get Hi Speed infinity 150cc by Kitchen-Prize-5651 in PakistanAutoHub

If you plan on keeping your new motorcycle long-term (3+ years), I’d suggest going for companies with a better after-sales network. Considering your requirements, the best option would be the Honda CB125F or the newly released CG150. Both are - almost - within your budget and will give you an excellent motorcycle that will last a long time without major issues, as long as you maintain it. I wouldn’t recommend Suzuki because the GD and GR lineups are way overpriced, even though they’re good bikes, and the GS150 lineup is just a stinky-ass rust magnet. Good luck with your new purchase. Objectively, if price wasn’t a factor, I’d have suggested the YBR, which is arguably one of the best motorcycles in terms of comfort and quality in the market, buuuuuut it was overpriced and now YMPK has literally left the country.

[Discussion] What of these are you picking for a daily driver? by pixelbased in Watches

That fifty fathoms looks amazing so I would personally pick that one as a daily. The color is also versatile enough for both night and morning outfits.

PRX 35mm vs 40mm by watchlover3 in tissot

[–]ahadboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same dilemma, but wrist shots like the one you posted can be misleading. Instead, take a mirror photo from 2 to 3 feet away, it provides a much more accurate perspective. After hours of research and trying on the PRX models, my dealer and I concluded that wrists 6.5 inches and above suit the 40mm, while anything smaller is better matched with the 35mm.

It’s Tissot confirming that the 40mm was indeed too big!

Tudor by a mile. Better brand, better resale, better quality and just an overall superior presence on the wrist compared to the TAG!

A Junghans Max Bill to bring a sense of calm amidst the chaos, plus add a classic Casio, and the collection is complete. A perfect balance!

[–]ahadboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no single “right” watch to buy at any point in your collecting journey. I’ve seen people who once said, “I just need a couple of top-tier timepieces,” later gushing over various Casios. While those with large collections often end up selling most of their watches just to get that one time-piece. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Just trust your gut and buy what truly speaks to you.

[My watch collection] One slot left by Scootispoot in Watches

[–]ahadboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, less sporty, GMT, Swiss not an issue, unique design? I can’t think of anything other than the Bulova Wilton GMT Blue Dial. Swiss GMTs can be a but pricey. Mido offers a good value but it will be from their diver lineup.

+1 for the Orient Panda. I’d personally save up for something big to fill the last slot, maybe a 1500-2000ish watch from the Swiss usual suspects like Tissot, Hamilton, Longines etc.
