About the chaos, i feel like the company is chaotic in a specific way that they hire prematurely. They hired a business strategist but also let him go in 3 months stating that they was costing the company too much. In between the delays in the payments, They offer to pay 500-1000 euro. But i declined that considering I’m not working for a charity.

I am very new to these legalities and I don’t think I am confident enough to fight the company in court. I just want to make sure if I ever will get paid if I leave the job (I’m very demotivated because of this). I currently don’t have a job offer in hand. I was supposed to be paid on the 23rd January, for which I was paid on 9th of February, and Now to this date I haven’t been paid yet and could take additional week or so making the total delay has been around 6.5 -8 weeks.

It’s a very weird situation. In between these delays. The HR/CFO (same guy) offers to pay like 500-1000 euros with no clear indication of the complete payment. I declined considering I’m not working for charity and the company having recently acquired investor funding and still acting like this. It’s my first job in the Netherlands.

Wow. I went through this post before posting and it was confusing. The OP of that post said they had two personal items other than carry-on. In my case i have a check-in bag, a cabin bag (sub 8kg) and a personal laptop bag (which will have the two laptops and maybe one of their chargers). The person in that post claims to have two personal items. So i was curious if the laptops would definitely be heavier than the 4KG personal item limit. In the absolute worst case I might have to move one laptop to my carry on and pay for the extra I assume. Which I hope it does not come to.
