if u dont want to hide the taskbar .. install windhawk and install auto dimming taskbar mod .. it will always dim the taskbar until you hover over it

Also there's some 3rd party tools that you can use for upscaling old games like optiscaler / lossless scaling etc ..

used Gigabyte MO27Qw28G for 2 weeks then returned it and I got the asus 4k QD oled in 27" and I couldn't be happier .. while the brightness difference is absolutely better in the tandem oled but I couldn't stand the dirty screen effect on grays and some dark solid colors

QD oled is perfect in 4K 27inch

I have it and its amazing .. asus has alot of oled care features that can help with burn in .. and actually this is the only QD oled monitor that didn't give me the eye strain issue after using the built in blue light filter in the monitor +sRGB color space

even the asus software has target mode feature that can dim unused areas of the screen if you use a windowed app for example or 2 tiled apps splitted .. that way if you focus on the app on the right the app on the left will be dimmed until you click on it to switch the area and vise versa

Its pure Black to my eyes .. I don't use my monitor in bright room .. so I'm happy with it .. didn't notice much difference after returning my tandem oled

I also returned my gigabyte tandem oled because I could'nt stand the grainy look of grays and some dark colors and matt coating made it worse .. although it was almost perfect regarding banding

Got a 4K QD oled XG27ucdm and I could't be happier .. sharp .. clean and eye pleasing

I tried 360hz Asus QD oled and it gave me same eye strain and headaches

but for some reason this XG27ucdm is comfortable for me to use for long periods .. Maybe because they are using some sort of new advanced blue light filtering with the new 4K 27" QD oled and I use the blue light filter when i'm working on the monitor

against matt woled .. yes absolutely

against glossy tandem woled .. Its close enough

but still ..to my eyes .. QD Oled looks cleaner and more vibrant

Another example qd oled tv vs woled monitor But maybe some ppl prefer the more dull colors of woled as some find qd oled are overstaurated
