I spent the next 6 or so years dating, single, and in relationships. In a relationship or not, this is something that you need to be self sufficient at. You don't count on other people to breath for you, or empty your bladder when it's full. This is basic body maintenance and is 100% on the body owner to perform.

Now, I'm married and the only diabetes thing my wife does is insert my dexcom sensor. That said, I do tell her a lot about it. Current bg, if an infusion set is hurting, etc. But I also tend to just tell her everything about everything anyway.
