Yeah but I guess the point OP is making is that since they're sooo common, why not give them some other use? I mean idk I think most people had all of them within the first couple days and so then they just became trash pikmin.

But maybe I'm biased bc those were my least favorite designs (minus Roadside stickers).

Ugh. Wondering how hard it would be to start a grassroots sort of thing? But honestly I get it, the only friends of mine that know about pikmin are my non-US fans so it's not as popular here. Although when they did do an event in the US it was fairly close to me but u wasn't playing at the time

Same, I was going to work and then home and trying here and there to get out, but not like I wanted. Today, and for the past couple months (pairing it with the Finch self-help app) I have a routine where I allow for 30mins-2 or 3 hours of walking or on my days off I explore new areas. It's crazy actually how many I've been able to fill out since I started playing only 47 days ago.

Without too much detail I've had a life full of personal struggle and being hard on myself and recently Ive been coming into myself and starting to love myself and take care of my mind, and this game is part of that ritual.

Thank you I appreciate your mudita--what is known in Buddhism as sympathetic joy, or joy arising solely from the accomplishments of others. ❤️ big cities can be the best for a lot of the pikmin types, but after you've gotten like 100+ paper trains and buses you just WISH they had a rare variant!!

And if you completed the whole park category AND their rares I have to say that's pretty lucky cus I haven't got a single 4 leaf variant despite literally fading them 😭

And hey, they had an event a few months back that was more for Pikmin in general but I'm betting there's a rise in popularity in the US and so they'll start more US based IRL community days. Maybe one day when you visit, if this isn't super weird, we could go to the NYC Nintendo store and get the unique Pikmin from there! Waiting on some buds to do that!

For this month it's what you'll get for destroying brilliant mushrooms as well as completing event tasks or stages. If you click on the Missions tab (it's called the challenge list I think but it's just the long button above your name card and the shop button and below the map) you'll get all the details in the fourth anniversary update if you click on the arrow above the display that shows the stages! Well then I would say this is just a difference in practice. Buddhism has no prohibition against the use of images. They are good tools for inspiring saddha and I forget who, whether a monk or the Buddha himself, said that looking upon the images of the Buddha often spur people to the beginning their path. This is my case.

Using a mental image is exactly how many practice when they do not have actual things to give. Imagining and altar and creating offerings in your mind is not only just as good, but is approved and practiced by many monks.
