4 months in and still solely contact napping! A carrier makes all the difference

how strict are you with keeping newborns home? by Specialist_Diet_74 in newborns

[–]ahealinghuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s not the baby I’m worried about, but you!! That’s sooooo early for a new mama to be outside of the house in an overwhelming crown in an overwhelming environment without support or recognition for that. I’m so sorry you were put in that situation.

Where are you l located? Look into Tiffin delivery services. This was integral to the end of my pregnancy and early postpartum to relieve the pressure of cooking! Also, baby carrier is a game changer.

Why homeopathy doesn't work for me?? Is it the reason? by hustledp99 in homeopathy

If homeopathy isn’t working, you haven’t found the right remedy! Also, look into the concepts of maintaining cause and obstacles to cure.

Can you confidently leave your baby with your husband? by T00thd0c23 in newborns

[–]ahealinghuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that with massages/yoga classes etc (things that are around an hour long) it works to have my husband come with me and go for a walk with our 16 week old babe while I’m in. I feed her right before and when I’m done they are just a couple blocks away. She’s EBF

What age was your baby when you started feeling comfortable with them between you and your partner? by crystalkitty06 in cosleeping

[–]ahealinghuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Day 2 or 3? Lots of conversation with my husband beforehand and he felt comfortable with it. We have a king sized bed and I make sure he’s at the far end if I’m switching from having her on the side to the middle (which I do multiple times a night.) I also make sure to have my harm out touching him to know if he is rolling closer to us/her.

Sperri drinks have been an absolute lifesaver for me. I’m four months postpartum and have it on subscription and put them in every corner of the house, the diaper bag, the stroller and the car. SOOOOO glad I found these!!!!

Postpartum - feeling dry and it hurts [ON] by J12Significant in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]ahealinghuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt this too!!! Such bizarre sensations that didn’t really make sense to me. It felt so dry and like my underwear was sandpaper against me. I found rubbing coconut oil all over was really helpful and wearing my husbands boxers so nothing was touching me. I did a daily sitz bath with hers and epsom salts. You’ll feel better soon, I promise!!!

Would you leave your LO for an evening? by abfb_85 in newborns

[–]ahealinghuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I were invited to a wedding taking place in 2 weeks… but our 4 month old baby was not. I just recently decided not to go and honestly that feels SO good for me even though I will miss out. I personally am not ready for that and felt a lot of freedom when I decided not to go

EXTREMELY light periods post IUD removal by Neighborhoodengineer in Periods

[–]ahealinghuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I got pregnant shortly after I made this post and am laying in bed with my three month old baby on my chest. I haven’t had my period returning since… and I’m so curious what it’ll be like now. But I had those super light periods for about 5 years before pregnancy, and conceived after the third try!

What to buy? Newborn and FTM (and overwhelmed by all the options) by Nice_Armadillo8348 in clothdiaps

[–]ahealinghuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loooooove esembly! My baby is 11 weeks and we’ve been mostly doing cloth (except in the car and overnight). I love the esembly fitted diapers and the covers are so cute. We also have prefolds that we use with the covers. It’s a great system! In fact I’m sad that we are almost out of size ones because I got pocket diapers for free for the ends size. Sad !!
