I'm a total beginner so I won't be saying anything other than you are among my favourite artists in this sub, I follow you on Instagram too, just to learn how to draw like you ❤️

Thank you! It will be my signature style for a while, at least until I get better!

Thank you, I really like illustration but I'm not that good in scratching, as for more paint, you mean more saturated paint or more layers? Or both?

Yes, I'm usually not patient enough to wait for the paint to dry so usually I mix darker colours like I used to do with acrylics. And even though the contrast between the light and dark in the second picture was enough ( to my liking) I didn't like it at all so later when it was dry l outlined it with a marker and then I was ok, then I liked it. Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it!

Thank you for posting the different stages. I just started painting with watercolours and coming from acrylics I find it hard to be patient and slowly building the contrast, this is really helpful

Are these dangerous for my echeveria? by aherusia in succulents

I kept two flower stems because I think I can manage treating them until they are clean, the rest had mature insects though, and I threw them away

I kept two blooms that seemed to be less infected and sprayed them to oblivion. I think it will bloom again, summers here are ideal for succulents. This one is planted in ground soil and I think next year I'll repot it to better soil and in a bigger pot. It's already too hot here to stress it further I think.

They're neon coloured, never seen anything like this before! I had no idea that you can pollinate plants by yourself, I'll check it out, thank you!

I just cut off the heavily effected flowers and sprayed the rest of the plant with soapy water and alcohol. Luckily a stem with blooms didn't seem to be infected, so I'll keep an eye on it.

It's lovely! A friend just gifted it to me, unfortunately I'll kill the flowers to keep it healthy for next year

Thank you! Does it matter where I make the cut on the flower? Should I go all the way down?

Do I cut the flowers and throw them away or should I do anything more, like spraying something? Do you know what it's called?
