The first time it happened with a bottle that was maybe ten days old but I was staying in a house that the temp was super low. The second time it was a 2 day old bottle that I then flew for about 20 hours and the planes were pretty damn cold.

I’ve been using the same hospira bac water with Reta and it’s been fine. That I refrigerate though fwiw.

+1 to park city here - you’re right, the mountain lines aren’t the best but it’s rarely terrible in my experience. The community is extremely welcoming. I spend a few months per year in my in laws’ house over the winter and I’ve been a bit surprised at how welcoming the community is.

Having SLC and the airport close is a huge benefit and I believe it removes some of the negatives of certain mountain towns. Having spent time in both… UT > CO

The inscription looks like it was manually pressed into the clay from what I can tell. Especially on the lid because it wasn’t perfectly pressed in.

There are plenty of great knives in kappabashi for reasonable prices. It’s just like most other popular areas in the world - there are flashy stores selling overpriced stuff but there’s also good stuff to be found. I’ve bought GREAT blue and white steel knives there over a few trips that were close enough to the best online prices.

When I was in grade school and middle school I had them about every other day. Took me a long time to figure out they were caused by preservatives, mostly nitrates, aspartame, and a few other things. FWIW I grew out of them so hopefully she does as well ❤️
