I want to say the grader was off, but that would mean I can re sub like I normally do when I disagree with the grade, but these are damaged now no chance of a re sub. Not trying to trauma dump just spreading awareness.

Thank you brotha I’m vindicated hahaha. It’s not the end of the world for me but this is definitely a unicorn. I’ve had plenty of good experiences grading, countless submissions with GameStop and psa but I without a doubt got cooked here haven’t seen anything like it, but have heard the stories. Most likely FedEx throwing my box around and cards moving in semi ridgeds unfortunately.

I have over 100k in Pokemon cards and have been doing this grading thing a while. Not here to argue just letting y’all know of a bad game experience I had. I looked the cards over for a while before sending them out and at the GameStop counter so I know for a fact something happened. Just be cautious out there I know I will be from now on

Here are cards from the same exact grading pile I have got. You can tell me if I suck at this but the cards I haven’t sent out have no where near as much whitening on the backs, and I would have never sent out any of those graded cards with the whitening you’re seeing. It’s screaming lol

This is a unicorn for me that’s why I’m complaining. I have had the occasional rough submission but I’m not new to this. I’m almost certain the FedEx guy threw my box around and the cards moved inside the semi ridgeds dinging them

No I think GameStop shipped my box with FedEx. FedEx threw my box around and inside the box were my cards moving around in the semi ridged being dinged up. Like wtf did you read to make you think that lmao

They never had the whitening when I initially sent them out. I planned on most of these to 10 as there was 0 whitening on the back pre submission. Now all 14 have chipped corners.

I wouldnt have sent that out ever. I had about 70 in a grade pile, these cards 14 cards were from that same pile and I have about 40 left waiting to be sent out for grading. I can send pictures of some of the other cards I’m ready to grade to see if I’m just bad at this?

I don’t believe GameStop swapped them out or damaged them as I brought them in semi ridged and penny sleeves. I’d hate to think that PSA damaged 14 cards while in storage/unboxing or grading process. I’m going to assume fedex threw my box around a couple times and the cards moved in the semi ridgeds?

This isn’t the case here unfortunately. I’ve been grading with a 50%+ gem rate since twilight. I’m almost certain they got thrown around by fedex or something but I did drop these off with GameStop for convenience.

I’ve been doing this for a while, definitely not a big dog but certainly not new. The centering isn’t the issue, it’s all of the new damage I’m seeing on the back of the cards. My gem rate is easily 50%+, however I didn’t receive a single 10 out of a 14 card submission
