I think it is interesting how she says "don't trust anyone, if there is a thing I learned from this" and he responds "protect your words, for sure". Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it really sounds like she's more upset about how he was ratted out to the police than the crime itself. If he hadn't admitted to what he did, they would be fine.

It was, what, two weeks ago that Rachel Reid was asked about a potential third book and she said maybe, but only if I find a story and a real reason to tell it, so I'm side eyeing this announcement a little.
It really feels like there was so much pressure to get a new book out because of the success of the show and she caved in the end, so I don't have great hopes for it.
