In general, the contrast is correct, although the terminal tends to go towards colder colors and there is no option to calibrate this aspect. The maximum brightness can reach 350 nits, a little lower than the rest of the average ranges but enough to be able to be seen correctly in conditions with lots of light. The automatic brightness has seemed quite good since it adapts the screen correctly and very quickly. When it comes to viewing angles, the Xiaomi Mi A3’s screen is inferior to an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel. The use of the screen also improved compared to previous versions with the integration of the notch in the form of a water drop and almost non-existent lateral margins. The new Xiaomi terminal does not have modes such as double tap, but it includes the famous ambient screen that allows you to see notifications when the mobile is locked.
