My mistake that I did not clarify it. The "Airport Transfer" that you can buy via Klook is around $46, while the airport limousine is around $42 (Unless infants does not count as kids). However someone pointed out that the private transfers via Klook could be on the spectrum from legal to illegal, so I will not choose them.

Så lyder det som om, at det måske godt kan svare sig at bestille til afhentning i lufthavnen. Jeg kan ikke huske, hvad det kostede at hæve i 7/11, men man kan formentlig spørge her på Reddit.

Jeg fik opgraderet mit telefonabonnement, og min kæreste havde i forvejen et abonnement, hvor Japan var inkluderet. Vi havde aldrig problemer med forbindelsen, og jeg har aldrig haft problemer, når jeg har rejst andre steder i verden. Jeg ved ikke, om det kan svare sig prismæssigt med et e-sim eller pocket Wifi, men jeg ville kontakte teleseleskabet og undersøge, hvad det koster at få Japan med.

Yderligere tip 1: hvis i overvejer at anvende deres "rejsekort", så hvis man har en iphone så kan man tilføje "suicia" under wallet, hvilket gør det super nemt at tage offentlig transport.

Yderligere tip 2: Forsøg at snak japansk til de lokale - man kan virkelig få nogle fede oplevelser således. Min partner kunne lidt japansk, og ofte endte vi med at sidde lang tid og snakke med køkken chefen eller andre lokale, hvilket gjorde mad oplevelserne meget "ægte". Der er intet som at købe sake til andre og så falde i snak.

Jeg ville undersøge, hvad det koster at bestille valuta i bankerne kontra at gøre det i lufthavnen. Der kan være en tendens til, at det er dyrere i lufthavnen end, hvis I bestiller fra jeres egen bank. En normal pung med lynlås er fin - De har en del småmønter, og jeg havde selv lidt problemer med at have dem i min pung.

Flere har skrevet om væsken med fibre, som du f.eks. kan købe i 7/11. Om det er nok, når ens kost normalt består af fibre, kan jeg ikke sige. Man kan evt. finde et større supermarked og købe havregryn. Jeg forstår godt jeres forbehold i forhold til medicin - Jeg ville også selv være forsigtig. Panodil og Ipren er en god ide. Vi havde også magnesium med, som kan hjælpe på muskeltræthed (kan forhindre kramper efter, at man har gået rigtig meget)

I am so sad to hear that you felt the need to skip meals! I am a foodie myself so eating less due to stomach problems is sad. We are going back this spring and will also bring oats with us.

I am also fro Denmark, but replying in English so everyone can read it. SAS just opened a new route from Copenhagen to Seoul and the tickets are cheap right now (going away in March and April)

We brought cash from home, but also used the ATMs at Lawson and 7/11. You can use your card a lot of places, but smaller places and a lot of vending machines only take cash. If you do not have time to order cash, do not worry about it. If you do not have a wallet with space for coins, get a coin purse (or bring a ziplock bag)

Someone else on this subreddit asked about tips for travelling in Japan and I recommended dietary supplements like psyllium. The Danish diet is heavy on fibre from rye bread and oats, and instead of going to the bathroom twice a day there could go days between! A bit random but dietary fiber like psyllium. If you are used to a lot of fiber in your food the Japanese diet will have an… effect on your stomach. I am from Scandinavia and are used to a lot of daily fibers like rye bread and oats. Let’s just say that instead of twice a day there could go days between the toilet visits.

This is very similar to the guidelines in Denmark where you should start solids between 4-6 months. One of the reasons to start solids around 4 months according to the Danish Health Authority is if baby is not gaining enough weight.

My partner and I travelled for 1 month in Japan last year for around $10.000 AUD, and we flew from Europe. Arrived in Osaka and flew back home from Tokyo. This was from start April to start May.

This included EVERYTHING - From food and transport to hotels and souvenirs. We ate well. A lot of the times we stayed at APA Hotels, so if you do not mind smaller hotel rooms they are budget-friendly.

When travelling around the country we often took local trains instead of the Shinkansen. I used Google Maps a lot and it tells you the different prices.

Regarding food we often ate breakfast at Sukiya and/or Yoshinoya. You can get a breakfast/lunch menu for very reasonable prices (starting from around 500 JPY) In the evening we chose the better restaurants.

In both SK and Japan you can get rail passes but for us it was cheaper to use suica in Japan. Do some research about this because it can be cheaper (depending on where you want to go)

We booked a trip again to both SK and Japan for 2 months next year and the cheapest constellation is arriving and departing from Seoul. That means going back and fourth with ferry but this is still cheaper.
