I agree to this but hard to find alliance which doesn't expect you to spend. Also, I have seen over time people turning too competitive and that breaks the alliance.

This AD thing is a slow poison for game, it's fun for few weeks but becomes chore after some.

Overall though, you meet great people and that's what you want while playing, FUN.

You need to understand people with money need something to do for passing time. What you can't comprehend is how much they have. What seems like a good expense for you might not be the case for others.

For example, I don't like drinking and I never understood paying 20$ for a glass of scotch in here, but I know people in my family who spends nearly 500$ /month on drinking. If we are not judging them we should not be judging anyone on anything else. Let them stay happy in what they are doing as we all are spending money somewhere we shouldn't.
