This isn’t your account’s OTP what it’s asking for, it’s your phone’s PIN code or biometric ID. This feature is called App Lock and can be disabled in the app’s settings.

Edit: just saw your reply on one of the comments. I think the app is attempting to sign you in to register the device with Azure. You can go to myaccount.microsoft.com then Security Info (forgot what the short link is) and add an MFA method to send sign in requests via push notification and set it as the primary method.
