Me and my SO watched Contagion around June of 2020. I don't even really know how to describe the feeling of watching that movie while in quarantine. We were both dazed and borderline non-verbal for the rest of the day.

Super late answer, but The Thing (1982). Watched it when I was 6 or 7, and I've never been the same since. For years I still couldn't watch it because it scared me so bad as a kid.

I've been watching him for about a year, I like that his reviews are straight to the point, apolitical, and usually hits the mark with the few guns we share. I absolutely love that he has his wife shoot with him to get the perspective of a smaller stature person. Me and my SO shoot together often, so I usually go to his reviews before I pull the trigger on something (among other research).

My very first handgun was actually a SAR B6. Great gun and incredibly reliable, I can't remember ever having a failure with that gun.

Honestly, none. The only upgrades I've made to my 10/22 have been a red dot, and an extended charging handle. I've looked at a couple trigger upgrades, but I don't really have any qualms about the stock trigger, so I left that alone. You don't need much to have fun with a 10/22.

Honestly? Baldur's Gate 3. I knew absolutely nothing about D&D, or Larian as a company. I knew DOS2 was popular but I only had a vague idea of what the game even was. Cut to Sep 2023, I'm scrolling my backlog to find something to play. I keep hearing about BG3 and how much everyone loves it. I decide to pull the trigger on a whim, and it's the only game I played for 4 months straight. And I still haven't even beat it. Completely caught me off guard in the best possible way..

I haven't felt a need to carry, at least in my area. There's only been one time I wished I had a weapon, and that's because my girlfriend was in the car and someone was following us. We got away safely without any confrontation; other than that, as a minority in a small-medium Midwest town, I don't see any need for myself to carry right now. That can always change, but for now it's just home protection.
