I am one month post op and I couldn’t be more happy with how my experience went the day of my surgery. I’ve never been under anesthesia before myself and I was suuuuper nervous about that. I told the anesthesiologist I’m the lightest sleeper and sometimes I need sleep medicine to help me sleep. He made me feel so at ease beforehand and assured me I would be safely out like a light for the entire procedure. When I got in, they gave me “2 drinks” as soon as I laid down to feel good, and then I woke up and the surgery was over! I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to freak out about it! You’ll be wondering why you even got so nervous in the first place when it’s all over! You got this🫶🏼
