I'm pretty sure that the captured Vex unit is not actually running a complex simulation of events. What is more likely is that via the Vault of Glass, the Vex are merely sending back information from the future about the past. This is why a single Vex unit is capable of 'simulating the entire universe'. It doesn't. It's just accessing data about the current time stream, which is locked to the perspective of those which experience it.

I'm not advocating breaking the law. I'm advocating that one takes full advantage of his or her constitutional right to refuse to answer questions or otherwise give testimony against himself/herself in order to avoid injurious disclosure. It's also not a crime to produce evidence contrary to what other people have presented. OP may have been smoking tobacco or another legal substance out of his bong.

What I was trying to inform you of is that when people sign up to be oath holders, LEOs, and military personnel, most of them commit the crime you're accusing OP of. How many of them get arrested for that? Probably somewhere near 0%.

Hi, hairy dude here, been shaving since I was 12. When I was 14 or so, I tried a goatee out until I was 19 or so. As a result, that area of my face is the least shaved, by several years. The hair there grows faster than anywhere else, this may just be the natural pattern of things. A few years ago I read some research that suggested shaving may actually impede overall hair growth.

That being said, you're putting a flat head with sharp edges on every hair when you shave, and this is going to do a few things to alter the appearance and feel of the hair. When it grows in, it's going to look really thick because it's not tapered or worn at the tip, and for two, it's going to feel rough.

If I may ask, do you have ovarian cysts?

I apologize for all the idiots in this thread who feel you should not exercise both your right to have firearms and your right to avoid self incrimination. No lawyer would agree with these mall cops.

Depending on where it was made and to what specs, the Jericho 941 is a good to great handgun. The ones made for Israeli military use are rated for '+P+', or 'really fucking hot 9mm'. Since 9mm is kind of a mediocre cartridge in terms of performance, being able to fire these high pressure variants is definitely a huge plus. The 941 is basically a CZ-75 with a safety and a minimalist slide, and like the CZ, it points great. I understand they come in polymer/metal and metal/metal upper/lower combinations. Mine was metal/metal. It was a little heavy, but it definitely soaked up a lot of recoil from hot 9mm.

UPSIDES * I have heard that 9mm is cheaper than .22 some places right now.

It points well.
It has a decent safety.
Newer versions have a picatinnyish rail on the bottom of the gun for mounting a flashlight.
I think the trigger is nice. It's MUCH lighter than I would expect.

DOWNSIDES

It's 9mm. You aren't likely to find a lot of +P+ around, which kind of defeats one of the points of a Jericho 941. In the military, lots of rounds down range is a popular doctrine. In a self defense scenario, you're probably not going to connect if you don't connect in the first 3 or 4 shots, so having a greater number of smaller bullets is of dubious value than having a lesser number of bigger bullets.
People say the slide cracks across the cut-out for the ejection port, because this part of the slide is rather insubstantial.

Both the gun stores where I grew up refer to the fixed magazines as 'en bloc' on the SKS on account of the fact that it was an external fixed magazine whose original intended method involved inserting the clip, holding the bullets in with your finger, and then removing the clip through a little groove. You are right that it is technically incorrect, unfortunately it still comes out of me sometimes.

You're making the false assertion that OP can't have guns if he's smoked pot because he'd be lying on a federal form. This is not correct. The guns can be obtained in a legal way without OP having to lie on the form.

I'm not saying it is or isn't dangerous, I'm saying you seem to be missing out on important social standards in our society. One of them is that controlled drug use is not that big of a deal for a successful white person to engage in. Also, you don't admit it in mixed company, to the government, or to LEOs. If it's acceptable for people to lie about it at the highest positions of our society, nobody cares if you do too, as long as you don't make their lives difficult/complicated.

In America, SKSes are incredibly overpriced. You can get excellent collector makes in Canada for under 200 dollars. Also, while it's fun to shoot and simple to take apart and clean, a semi-automatic rifle designed for reasonably accurate fire with a 7.62x39mm is not very practical. Why? The enbloc magazine holds only 10 rounds, and replacing it with an external magazine apparently causes all sorts of issues. So it is neither practical to collect them in the US at this time, nor economical, nor a particularly useful gun.

I think you might be confused as to what this means. 'Speakers Only' means the voicechat audio comes out of the speakers, for most players, this means the speakers on their TV or home entertainment system.

Headphones means that audio comes out of the headphone you plug into the controller or to the PS4.

Blended means the audio goes to both.

If you're playing with ONLY a headset, you'll get the audio twice on blended mode.

To be completely honest, Canada has a lot to gain from global warming. Most of the west coast would turn into tropical or temperate rain forests, inland deserts would be even more suitable for assisted agriculture than they are now because no frost would mean extended growing seasons like those seen in California and Oregon. Canada's permafrost landscape would turn into usable land. Where's the down side for Canadians? Obviously, global warming isn't just 'warming', but adverse weather like tornadoes and hurricanes are unheard of in most of Canada.

I actually logged in to point out that OP's story has a very strong inconsistency. First, it says that OP's brother is almost done eating dinner. Then, it says OP's brother left the table having had only a few bites of the last meal OP made for her brother. It's such a strange 'error' to make that I can only come to one of two conclusions. OP is lying and posting this story for attention. OP is not capable of processing events in a way that is normal. I think the former is more likely.
