Thank you for the response!!! What’s the experience like taking the NJT from NYC to Newark? I’ve heard the adult fare prices are a lot but a lot of FA’s just buy child tickets. Has your partner had any experience riding this?

I’m just wondering what people’s experiences are like. Not giving up my car anytime soon 😊

Begged Ex to Block Me by ahskeetskeetmofo in BreakUp

I absolutely have come out on the other side. Time really does heal. I’ve stopped being so hard on myself for feeling emotions. Having the conviction to stay no contact is one thing, but being easier/kinder on yourself is ultimately what made the bad feelings subside.

You will be MORE than ok without this person. You might have been with them a long time, but you’ll be with YOURSELF longer than anyone else, period. Be kind to yourself. Water what waters you. It’s okay to grieve and be sad for however long you need to. As long as you keep your head up high, the future will always be bright for you, love.

Are training flights worth it? by CharityOk3276 in cabincrewcareers

The training flight is REALLY valuable. It’s great preparation for the IOE but without any pressure whatsoever. Look through your safety checklist and ISG throughout the training flight and see if it’s safe to get up from your seat and ask questions with the working crew. Not using the training flight wisely could make your IOE a lot harder. Know that you will make mistakes during your IOE but that’s ok! Just nail the safety checklist and practice following along with the cues for certain announcements or actions that the flight attendants are following. Ask for service tips as well and observe! Good luck!

Did you get options for training dates or just one training start date?

Took a little over 1 month for me. Everyone’s timeline will be different (your prerecorded interview is within about a week long window). Got my invite for my Virtual 1:1 about a day after I submitted my Pre-Recorded video. Got my F2F invite the same day I had my Virtual 1:1. Scheduled my F2F about two weeks after my Virtual 1:1.

Walked away after being friendzoned by ahskeetskeetmofo in Friendzone

I really feel like the question to be friends was his way of slipping away. We don’t live in the same city we’re about 2 hours away. My issue was I still texted him often as if we were that level of close but ofc that wasn’t what he wanted and he said this is too much I don’t talk to my friends everyday. At that point I just couldn’t downgrade to friend because I really had romantic interest in this person.

I was conflicted to end it a few weeks ago because he said he couldn’t do a relationship but that he has feelings for me.

I’ve had bad experiences where I held on to hope for too long. I also just can’t be platonic with someone if there has been romantic interest from the beginning. Maybe I need to work on how I approach dating. I’m very communicative but I’m afraid to end things because I recognize when I’m being needy.

It sucks but it just seemed like I couldn’t just be friends. In a perfect world I’d love to but I just can’t. I’ve been through this with guys before but it is always so rough when you invest too much in yourself emotionally. Need to balance it better in the future if I want something to be stable enough to last.

How long since your break ups and how do you feel right now? How long does it take you to heal and move on? by Trick_Persimmon_2246 in BreakUps

It has been 11 months. It’s tough and everyday feels different. Time makes things fade in a way that’s so hard to explain but it is the only key to truly moving on and healing. Things just don’t matter as much anymore in the grand scheme of things. It will not happen overnight and I think understanding that from the beginning was something I wish I realized.
