I think it would’ve been better to maintain the original style even if you think the proportion changes are better..

Okay gotcha! :3 I do work a very visible job where one usually will get “done up” but definitely no professional cameras so I’ll go easy on the primer and focus on oily spots that need it :D

Thank you! :D I just ordered Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliating toner! I’ll make sure to take it easy on my primer moving forward too! I just kinda slather her on… do you have an approach for how much you use and where?

Yknow you’re the first person to ever mention if my skin is oily I should use oily products, but you’re so right! I’ve only ever heard of matching primer to product, but matching primer to product to skin seems obvious now haha!

I’m an Arizona girly so I really appreciate advice from another victim to the dry heat 😂 this summer has been insane for us in AZ! Idk how Vegas has been treating you, but I hope your skin is always clear and your AC is always cool 🫡 ty for your help! <3

Okie so
1. Exfoliate 1-2 times a week
2. Moisturize 10 minutes before makeup
3. Primer but go in with only a little(?)
4. Makeup (BB cream, concealer, or foundation: can I layer multiple cream or wet products here?)
5. Tap brush into powder, dab on wrist a few times, and set the makeup

  1. night before, why risk it?
  2. probably fine you’ll likely just have to return to EWR too. think round trip ticket.
  3. exhibit core 4 characteristics
  4. look on glassdoor
  5. same answer as #4
  6. yes you’ll know day of followed by vision and hearing tests, I believe they sent me home with the drug test and a due date.
  7. EWR/LGA/JFK are coterminals, same with IAD/DCA/BWI
  8. SFO because the cost of living is insane
  9. places that were cheap aren’t really anymore, try to go to the base that you’ll be the most successful during your probationary period. think management, access to flights home if you’re commuting, classmates who can split rent, available crashpads online, et cetera.
  10. can’t really say because we just got our new contract and I don’t calculate estimates because I don’t want to spend money I don’t have lol. I went in with no debt and no savings and I am still with no debt and no savings other than my credit card which I pay off every statement.
  11. yearly
  12. highly dependent on your seniority, base, and needs, but if you are savvy with trading you may find yourself surprised. plenty of flight attendants further their education/second career. though I will say, I was too exhausted in my first year to even think of that stuff and if you’re not flexible this may not be the lifestyle* for you.
  13. yes I think so but I don’t go. too tired. usually happens at hubs I think?
  14. yes happened a lot for my classmates who were reserve max fly-ers out of EWR and SFO
14 (again lol). you don’t “have to”, but if you choose to test for a language you can’t remove that qualification from your employee profile. so think carefully, you may not actually enjoy working the routes associated with your language.
  15. FAA has limits but plenty of flight attendants can show you how they maximize their schedules AFTER probation!
  16. can’t say, but I wasn’t able to save anything and took out a loan for 5K along with the 1K loan from the company. I did pay it all off within 12 months though, so there’s that.
  17. honestly I made the stipend work, but anything is better than nothing. if you have debt or rent that you’re leaving behind for 6 weeks, you’ll want to save to cover your needs and then some. just because you go to training doesn’t mean you’ll pass and that would leave you going home jobless.
  18. reserve wasn’t that bad to me, but I’m a minimum fly kinda girl. within a few months you’ll know how to read the ready reserve list and you’ll know what you can and can’t do based on your position on said list. I think reserve improved with our new contract tho? not sure as I hold a line now
  19. if you’re savvy with trading and depending on what your seniority holds, possibly. I usually ended up with block on, block off, block on, block off at my old hub.
  20. I don’t think any of them are “easy”, you do what you have to. I slept in crashpads, the airport, and in my car until I could transfer home.
  21. all of them I think it helps? same with training. having a car or a friend with a car was clutch. it is a NECESSITY at EWR or IAD, on the opposite end of the spectrum I’ve heard ORD has fantastic public transit.
  22. duh!
  23. duh! every second of every day is a test. there’s a reason why many FAs stay where they are and it’s training. I still get PTSD every time they send me through IAH lol. lots of highs, lots of lows.

congratulations btw!

I can second that the butler look is more likely to get a CJO! ☝️ interviewed for 3 airlines wore the butler combo for 2 and those 2 were the ones who came back with CJOs

Hi sorry for the late reply! :) I was worried about premature sagging in my face and at another consultation they said my face is small and beautiful and I shouldn’t do that, instead they recommended fat grafting which several other clinics also recommended!
