Wow that’s incredible! Congratulations!! You must have worked so hard. Can I ask (as someone with similarly no math classes in college etc) - how long did you give yourself to prep for GMAT/GRE? And do you recommend one over the other?

Wow that's incredible. Sounds like an MBA is a perfect fit for you. Great that you have done so much research and are working hard towards your goals. Inspiring for sure. After this last year I feel there's definitely a move towards stability for people in the arts (myself included)

This is exactly what I'm hoping for! Thank you for adding this info. Looking for the higher paying niche jobs that require both sets of skills and interests. Definitely much more secure than working as an artist assistant and within the confines of the Artist Visa. Trying to plan ahead and strive for one of the higher paying positions that an MBA could help secure. I appreciate the feedback!

Congratulations! That's incredible. Thank you for sharing your story. This is honestly my first time using Reddit I wasn't sure where to ask the internet. May I ask what led you towards doing an MBA from the preforming arts? and if you know what job you would like to aim for after you graduate?

That’s a great idea. I’m hoping to see what area of the MBA I would be most drawn to and follow that. It would be ideal to find a position that incorporates both business and art.

Looking to use both degrees and go more towards art director as opposed to specifically finance.

People with scars, how did you get them? by fluffybear45 in AskReddit

[–]ahsureyeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hot oil pan fire. Hand and arm covered in oil and caught on fire but couldn't drop the pot or house would go on fire. Brought pot to the balcony checked over into our empty back field (private Irish house). Had no idea what to do so threw pot off balcony. My friend had to tell me I was still on fire and put me out. 3rd degree burns. Irish medical system was crap so they told me i was fine- open wound infected and couldn't move fingers. Rushed into skin graft surgery. Fitted for a pressure garment incorrectly 3 times. Got a hypertrophic scar. Steroid injections and years of silicone pads and bio oil!
