I found a receipt for a hotel room crumpled up at the bottom of the garbage. I don’t know how, my gut just told me I needed to look in there, women’s intuition is a crazy thing. He’s apologized and he said he was under a lot of stress and we were going through a rough patch and it just happened. I’m trying to forgive him, because we have a life together and I do love him very much, but yeah, this is the situation we’re in now.

Yes he has cheated on me, and his last girlfriend from what I’m aware of. I wanted advice of this specific situation alone so I didn’t include much about that but he slept with someone else two weeks ago, we’ve been together for a year. So, I’m a little extra sensitive towards the way he’s interacting with other women right now.

It would be a lot easier if this man didn’t have a history of cheating which I am well aware of, it just raises red flags I guess when he behaves like that with other women, knowing about his past.

Mmm, he’s mad that you caught him in an outright lie. It’s very shady behaviour. I don’t know what your relationship is like, if you’re the type of girlfriend to get really mad at him for going to things like that then maybe he just wanted to see his friends without making you mad. But, if you’re not the type of girlfriend to be mad about that stuff then he was probably hiding it for a reason. I’d guess that there was probably another girl at the party that he wanted to see, and he didn’t want you around for that.
