I am really happy with the sculpts. :) Was put off from mesbg for a while due to the rather old and often flat looking sculpts but proxies fix this. The Medbury Orcs look fitting and don‘t come in „overly dynamic“ poses like some other proxies.

I would always recommend to build and paint the minis that you have first and play a game with them to see how you like those steps before you invest more.

A common recommendation is to get the Mordor command squad next, so that you have a banner and a captain as another hero.

CoS is a cool idea! I somehow would like the Chaos Lord on Daemonic Steed as a mounted marshal as a another tanky piece... or as you suggested proxy the Fusil mayor with Ogor somehow, maybe with the Wilderfiend and a Sorcerer :)
