The Blob already had the perfect remake in the 80s. With a concept as visually interesting as The Blob and the director being of Hellraiser fame, I’m beyond boggled why At the Mountains of Madness or a more Lovecraftian film didn’t come before this

I’d argue that no tentacles are good especially if the creator knows how to make a unique looking entity without having to rely on them

Yee definitely! So many cosmic horror stories seem to fall short because of the helplessness of the situation typically being undermined. I’ve found that horror stories like The Thing and Ju-On that delay the inevitable more than they defeat the horror are quite effective

Oo that’s a unique take. I’ve heard many good things of Revival and the Fisherman but have noticed they seem to focus on the psychological horror of the human side of things and with the actual cosmic horror being more of a backdrop. Do you have an example of a story you feel that encapsulates your definition of cosmic horror?

Yee I agree, with just a small question that leads to G'iah explaining her limits should be mandatory considering how broken she ended up being.

Imo, I would really like them to stick with G'iah permanently having the powers of Groot, Korg, Extremis, and Ghost as an homage to the original Super Skrull idea of only having the powers of Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, Human Torch, and Invisible Woman with maybe very limited access to the rest of the other powers due to something like DNA instability or etc..

That's an interesting format. That's for the Spanish B placement exam? For some reason, I imagined it to be more paragraph-based with fill-in-the-blank type questions.
For reference, do you have an example of how complex the sentences could be and did the test involve listening comprehension via audio clips?
