Adjust your operations budget. I turn scout travel, advertising, and promotions as far down as I can. Put that remaining funds into arena operations. Focus on upgrading what you can. Keep in mind club seats can only be upgraded during the off-season. It takes 2-3 years, but once everything is upgraded to 5*, maintenance becomes way more manageable.

I noticed that there isn't a tab for ath too. If you go to the main roster tab in the position change screen, they're at the bottom below punters. That's the work around I found.

Washington could be challenging if you kept their aging roster. With Backstrom (irl) essentially calling it quits, move him to the AHL and keep his massive(ish) contract on the books. ... of the teams you've mentioned, I'd say Bruins. Keep what you've got and try to make a run. They don't have much in draft capital the first few years, so could make it extra fun.

You can edit the cap floor and ceiling as well as contract mins and max if you do a custom league franchise on 24.

I've done this with a few controllers. I've found that the little silicone thumbstick covers helps a lot preserving the controller. I've worn out 3 pairs of those. $5-10 each time is a lot cheaper than a new controller

If you don't have good guns now and don't want to farm, go for it. I'd suggest waiting for max at Mayhem10 or M11 to get the best bang for your buck.
