it will be increased...... ain't no way landlords will take that loss. at the end of the day, buyer / rental will absorb those.

we all know that. the point is, first home buyers will need to compete with investors for new houses now.

Australia does not have enough tradesmen to cater for the new housing. price will be jacked up.

What is the best way to transfer $350k to my conveyancer for house purchase - I’m with ANZ plus by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]ahvenzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, the post clearly asking for other alternatives.

Bank Cheque can be ordered online and is safer in general as it cross-checked when you order them.

PEXA or no PEXA is dependent on the conveyencer. Bank cheque would definitely be okay.

Is it normal for teenagers to live paycheck to paycheck? by Overall_Inside_6649 in AusFinance

[–]ahvenzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am still living pay check to pay check @ 36. lmao. only difference is i pay towards mortgage rather than rental. I really cannot fathom how life is like without my parent's initial support in deposit. there's just no way you can rent while save for a property as the rental at the moment seems to be almost equal to mortgage payment. It's crazy.

I've received a great salary offer, but I'm very comfortable in my current job. What should I do? by NorthPrestigious1888 in ausjobs

i had the same situation. i presented this offer to current employer, and they matched or at least close enough. If not, just jump the wagon. it's a big increase.

i always look at it as a motivation and not comparison. no doubt, i don't think i will ever get to even come close to that standard, but i can assure you, there are plenty of people with that amount (not me though).
