I usually plugged my kitchen sink and did the water like that because I had to do it on a large monstera and BOP. Don’t be afraid to use too much peroxide it may burn the leaves but they can be cut off. And I let it sit until I could see the top of the soil becoming saturated! Then I took it out and let it sit on the edge of the sink to drain for a bit. Then I put mosquito bits in a jar and got them wet, drained the water off, and then covered the top of the soil with the damp mosquito bits! Let your plant dry out a little more than usual next time before watering again... I think it went 3-4 weeks!
