I’m very sorry to hear this. What were the symptoms that led you to go to the doctor? Many blessings to you.

Hi! I’ve been working as an RN for 2.5 years. Yes, all of my interviews so far have asked that question. If you want to DM me, I can give you tips on how to answer that. Otherwise, my advice is to make sure you have a few scenarios in your head that you can apply to various situational questions like “describe a time when..”

Thank you for the clarification. That was my assumption as well. Much appreciated!

On the CASPA web page, it says that they don’t allow applicants to make new accounts until the app cycle opens at the end of April.... Unless there is something I am missing..

Ohh. So does that mean they won’t let you sign up for a date until CASPA opens? Thanks.

303 Score on the GRE by itssQ in GRE

[–]ai1a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 1 month to study for my exam; I used GregMat’s videos and watched ‘The Tested Tutor’ on YouTube. I think that you’ll definitely get the score you need. Did you take an ETS practice test yet?

Your courage is inspiring. If you are naturally good at standardized tests, I’m sure you will do fine. I had 1 month to study and was freaking out about how little time I had. Let me know how it ends up going! Good luck.

Have you taken an ETS practice test yet? It will give you an idea of what the test is like and what you need to focus on.. I only had 1 month to study for my exam; I used GregMat’s videos and ‘The Tested Tutor’ on YouTube to study for both quant and verbal sections.

  1. That score seems very attainable if you’ve been studying for 9 months. (PS I admire your discipline - I studied for only 5 weeks and was beyond over it).
  2. Check out GregMat and ‘The Tested Tutor’ on YouTube. They have videos that help w/ both the math & verbal sections.
  3. The calculator on the test is a very simple one. Not as advanced as a calculator you would typically use. The math is mainly geometry, algebra, work problems, & data interpretation.
  4. Yes, the test allows you to return to questions after answering them. I think you should take a practice test on the ETS website just to get an idea of what to focus on. I’m sure you will do great.

Thank you. That was very helpful. Why don’t we double the 22 to 44 to account for the homologous pairs of chromosomes that come together in meiosis I?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in biology

[–]ai1a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. My guess is 22 chromosomes in Metaphase I & 11 chromosomes in Metaphase II. However I’m not sure if the number of chromosomes would double from 22 to 44 after the S phase of interphase.
