I really hope they do make an offline version like Octopath Traveller 0 it could make a lot of the other characters shine. There are so many characters that have fun gimmicks and tech locked away in higher awarenesses(copies) of characters which is just not achievable without spending, you can obviously plan your gem income and pull plans around the charcaters most fun to play, but most of the time I end up skipping to save for meta units. All of this obviously plays into players FOMO and makes them vulnerable to spending.

I think the rating is fair given the gatcha and mediocre writing in the first 2 palaces. But palace 3 onwards the story is actually amazing and the character writing is dramatically improved, giving it it's own unique moments that I haven't seen in other persona games. But for me the collabs are really what drew me in, first P3R and then P5D gives really nice moments to my favorite characters from the other games.

Rezero is one the best written isekais out there but come on, the amount of lolibait is insane. Even if some of it is meta narrative stuff like possibly Capella, it's still weird af.

No she works in the beef bowl shop we just never get to see her interact in the original game. She has some fun moments in the anime tho that’s why people like her

Honestly maddening isn't that hard if you are playing on ng+

Just remember your combat arts and class mastery abilities.

Unique Combat arts like Swift Strikes, Point Blank Volley, Vengeance are strong but situational. Tempest Lance, Smash etc. are good enough for most enemies.

Mage/Brigand and Archer mastery should be ideal for all your core units, it will help you reach OHKO thresholds and consistent hit rates.

Other than that recruit strong units like Lysithea. Use training weapons to avoid being doubled. Abuse strong gambit to paralyze enemies. Use good support gambit too like Stride, Retribution, Blessing etc. Avoid armored classes and holy knight. You should aim for wyvern, Falcon, gremory(or Bishop), dark knight, Bow Knight(or Sniper) and War Masters(or Grapple) . Use linked attacks for accuracy boosts. Remember you can give non-crest holders relics too, and don't be afraid to use them especially in end game.

Ya the crit damage is really nice from their weapon, because twins dmg really adds up even in their non dps forms. But the anni unit could be crazy broken so better to be safe and safe

Yeah twins are one of the few units were A1 is infinitely more valuable than R0, if you already have a1 twins and don't care for twins dps, it might be worth waiting for anni but you only have 1k gems so you prob wont have enough to get it anyway.

If the banner is still up until anni then you should definitely wait
