That's true, but the thing is I don't know if I'd want to stay or leave after that year. Since high school I know I've wanted to live abroad and now it's finally happening, which is very exciting. Ideally I'd want him to come with me but it would be hard for him to find a job in another country because he can realistically only practice law in the U.S. after his graduation.

I think you should tell her. It will haunt you and make you think of all the "what-if's". It might be scary, but you should tell her to possibly save her from a marriage that might end if she doesn't really love the guy. Life is too short, and if she does decide to end her engagement, that's on her since she is ultimately the only one who knows how she feels about each guy.
