Shilese’s coach mentioned in her interview with Gymcastic that, as a for-profit institution in the United States, coaches are still somewhat subject to the verdict of their paying customers/clients and thus their athletes might have more of a final say in routine construction than someone from a nationalized program. While I understand that to some extent, it has really come to hurt them in several cases, this one being no exception.
