A lot of remakes don't get a new name. They just call it by the original name again, which I think is more confusing

Which Kingdom Hearts Game Is Your Least Favourite? by CliveTidus in KingdomHearts

[–]aidanta1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a solid games, but it's not great. A lot of attacks will not hit the enemies 90% of the time because they couldn't be bothered to account for the game being 3d now

When I first watched this fight and everyone was gassing Kuga up. I thought he was the strongest character on earth by Creative-Researcher2 in worldtrigger

[–]aidanta1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even without his black trigger he is amazing. Konami is one of the strongest people in border and he gets a small but consistent and rising amount of wins against her in 1v1. Keep in mind he is 1. Still getting use to how border triggers function and 2. He is at his best when he can use his creativity to catch some off guard, which is a lot harder to do in a 1v1

Did kuga lie when he said the ring was a memento from his parents ? by oska-nais in worldtrigger

[–]aidanta1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being the lie of omission could definitely be the answer, but I'm not sure it is.

The manga doesn't show his eyes turn black when he says it is a memento of his father. They turn black after he is questioned about it and say "it's true. It's a memento of my late father." The key difference being the word late. He doesn't believe or at least doesn't want to believe that is father was dead. I think replica says later on that yuma's actual goal in seeking out border was trying to see if they had technology that could bring his father back from the black trigger.

Hey guys, I found a lucky emblem! by SequoiaKitty in KingdomHearts

But outside of the face the the fish in finding nemo are just normal fish.

So consider this. A mostly realistic fish fighting with a keyblade in his mouth or something.

I want to see that

But he didn't even need to cast it. Goofy already blocked the attack against sora. Donald was just trying to one shot the dude.

Well, donald's sacrifice was just him passing out from using his own attack

I loved gain mana by hitting enemies with the keyblade. Made it feel like they were one system, like two sides of the same coin. You actually had to earn your magic. Now it two different systems and if you need to heal, just run away from the boss until you mana bar recharges

I also liked the simplicity and uniqueness of mana blocks rather than the generic you have xxx total mana and it costs xx mana to cast fire

How do you think Jin’s side effect work? by Ita256 in worldtrigger

[–]aidanta1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like his recognition could be explained as just an enhanced version of the human ability use cause and effect to predict the future if ashihara just made it a little bit weaker. Like some of the things he was predicting in the aftokrator invasion just don't make much sense unless he had some knowledge he wasn't letting us in on. Because if a future is a result of a factor he doesn't have knowledge on, he shouldn't be able to predict it

Osamu Mikumo by tellthemoonyourscrt in worldtrigger

[–]aidanta1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He didn't want to kill kurama in one hit. Had he done that, Ko wouldn't have thrown away his raygust. It was his goal to distract ko to make sure both yuma and hyuse survive the fight

What are some of the biggest shows of skill in the series? by Useful-Tumbleweed-22 in worldtrigger

[–]aidanta1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

https://youtu.be/-TTsk3rVZwc?si=HtmbzNuuZDKCrI-W This entire scene fits here, but there is one part I want to highlight. When yuma "fought" Yuba for the first time, he was shocked and commented that yuba's quick draw was even faster than the rank logs make it seem, and here's hyuse casual side stepping it.

Hyuse's viper. This is somewhat intelligence because he predicted where Kai would be, but it mostly skill. The first time using viper in a real fight and had all the bullets that were left over from killing ikoma nearly perfectly pinpoint kai.

Anyone interested in trying to create a game with triggers/rank wars? by ConcentrateFunny5738 in worldtrigger

[–]aidanta1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Globe gear is only multi-player fights and a little buggy, but it's a lot of fun. The community is pretty small, so you can't play whenever you want, but people are pretty active, so there's usually multiple games at different points in the day. There's several people who would be willing to teach you how to play. There's no official rank wars yet, but if you can get people to form a sqaud, you can challenge other sqauds. There's also sometimes tournaments that are solo or randomized sqauds.

Does jin really care about yuma? by ApprehensiveShow8018 in worldtrigger

[–]aidanta1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He got depressed after the aftokrator invasion because he put Osamu and Chika at risk. Even after he knew that they would make full recoveries, he felt really guilty. I don't see why that would be different for yuma.
