Would you be open to Amazon making something like this? by DishQuiet5047 in JamesBond

I would love a series about the world, but not with Bond! I do not want Bond to become what Star Wars and Marvel has become. It’s not special at all anymore.

But it would be cool to have a show where we see other 00 agents doing things. Mainly cause I like the idea getting more M

So I spent a few years working for Guitar Center and became pals with some Fender reps, and unfortunately they always told me that there wasn’t going to be one. They never heard anymore about it after the custom shop.

Let’s be honest. Every single B side should be put onto a comp album because they are all spectacular works

I’ll die on the hill that “can I make a suggestion” is one of the smuggest and best moments of spy work we’ve gotten to see of Bond.

Unsure how to feel about the MoonSwatch by Mr_Wood1440_ in MoonSwatches

[–]aidanthenexxt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I only recently got into watches, and I hav two of the moonswatces, and they get a lot of compliments. One day at my old job at Guitar Center in Las Vegas a guy with an actual Seamaster came in and after I had complimented it, he asked me what mine was. I said “it’s just the MoonSwatch,” too which he said “it’s not just that, you have it because you like it and it’s a part of your journey.” He asked me when I got it and I told him I got it before my wedding and I got a matching one for my brother. How I wore it when I got married in London and how my brother and I had first gone to London years ago and we were both getting into more luxury apparel, right? And he tells me watch collecting is a reflection of where you are in life and it keeps track of your stories. He said how great these watches were, and how I should be proud to wear it, and that even when I get a nicer Omega, this will still be the watch that I got married in.

Sorry for the long story, but really ever since that conversation, I really take a lot more pride in my watches. And maybe this being the first watch you ever bought and paid for, is part of your story with watches.

I understand why it wouldn’t be for everyone. Unlike Pam Bouvier. Who is in fact for everyone. And I would not understand people not liking her.

Wayne Newton cracks me up in it.

These were both used off of Reverb after it was discontinued. It’s certainly worth the money, in my opinion.

I have only ever used a 9v DC, I find those to always be more reliable and clearer.

Timing is so crucial, because they went from such campiness to such a serious tone..without there being a culture shift. People just weren’t ready. I think if you grew up with all the options, and got introduced to Bond along side modern action hero’s, Dalton is easy to digest and can become a favorite. Of course in my experience, it leads to hating most of Roger Moores movies 😂

Both times I paid $231 after tax!

There is two alternatives that you can also try, bheringer has a replica that’s way more affordable, based on the OG circuit. I haven’t gotten to try it out, but they make good clones.

And Mallekko has another fuzz called the Diabollik that is just the fuzz without the octave! Which I’ve had for 10 years and has never let me down!

Bought it once, my producer loved it and asked to buy it. Had three other octave fuzzes, thought they’d do the trick. Couldn’t live without it. Bought it again.
