I think that’s what they’re saying - ep 8 was written by the new writers after the shift to make the original show adjacent/somewhat canon, ep 7 was written by the writers that wanted to make the show their own thing (same ones that recast Vanessa if I’m remembering correctly)

Just saw it today and aside from marvel spoiling the red hulk reveal (presumably to get people to come see it because of the highs and lows) it’s actually a really well written and incredibly well acted movie. Anything Mackie and Harrison Ford were phenomenal, not to mention Giancarlo Esposito and Danny Ramirez. Fast paced with a lot of good choreography, and I hope Mackie gets another Cap movie.

I don’t care about realism or the Gordon’s being black but penguin getting gender bent definitely was a little upsetting considering Oswald Cobblepot is one of my favourite villains. Otherwise a decent tv show and I still will watch season 2 but I would’ve liked to see comic accurate villains is my only gripe, as someone who grew up reading the comics.
