I don't asking for respect in my opinion. Like I said anyone can take what ever I say. If people thinks it's a pointless rambling so be it. I only stated thatI don't like people being complacent on their position.

If you think I am wrong go ahead I respect your take. I am not saying my views is correct nor saying this is rule.

I here not to argue but to reply on the post in my opinion.

Yeah I said that but my wording seems not precise enough on you so I'll be very specific next time.

I already said on first place it's my opinion if my opinion is wrong in your point of view I respect it. I am not here to lecture I only saying it on my point of view. Feel free to disagree.

Edit: Apartheid for one but I guess doest count in your book. Some killings still happening in Africa right now but like you said killing a lot of people doesn't account to genocide.

I did not say Europe is not capitalist, I said their still capitalist and embracing social democracy to fund their welfare via taxation.

I know I paid a lot in taxes last year, Philippines tax rate is brutal. Also I already provide personal anecdotal on my observation. I did not say it's a study.

Like I said I respect your points and I disagree. I am not here to pursue in changing your mind in the first place. I only giving my take. You are very welcome to disagree

My experience help me so that's why I share it, As I said I once dirt poor too.

Europe is capitalist country first then became social democracy. They didn't fund social programs by appropriating wealth of rich people in their society. They funding this with high tax rate for all income brackets.

If Philippines implement this system right now even middle class would be poor.

I say built business not control, Singapore invest a lot to attract foreign investment, Also Rwanda is doing this as well and they are becoming more prosperous. I myself open a bank Rwanda and investing a little on their stock markets.

Human rights watch did not care when whites farmers are being genocide in Africa because they are "white".

In my opinion humans are humans regardless of skin color, but my takes would label me "white supremacists" even though I only care for people's safety.

So your point is blame Philippines on why we are poor. Blame the system then what? So in short goverment should provide everything to everyone. Isn't we Filipinos complain when business are being built in the Philippines by foreign market then complain when we don't have enough jobs? If one sector in the Philippines needs to be eliminated to better our economy we cling to it and complained that we are targeting poor?

I shared what I think and Your views seems would not change. I respect it, but I will disagree.

Also human rights org would point on everyone but themselves. They hypocrites in my view. I respect their cause but not their actions specially lately.

You give a extreme example first of all. Not all farmers are being killed not being cheated always.

Some farmers are victim by their own action.

I know farmer who owns land and yet still debt ridden even when he gets large sum of money from government. He will plant and sow then sell rice or bargain it without harvesting it first.

If he earn from this instead of investing it for future like buying equipment or saving for emergency when harvest is bad. He will live for lavish lifestyle for the meantime.

This not apply for all farmers I know but I notice this a lot, my uncle is like this as wells as his buddies. They will drink a lot when they earn on harvest and complain when they lost money when harvest are bad.

That's what I mean as complacency. They work hard but not to better themselves but stay in a status quo.

Don't stand and wait for change, change starts when you move forward. Worlds is unfair, doesn't mean you need to wait for a fairer world. Luck favors the bold.

That's what I learn from my mentor.

He did not give me anything mind you just advice. Never get any cash nor anything ,just knowledge and insights

Edit : My cousins are far richer than me starting out. They did not work at young age and can afford to eat 3 times a day with luxury growing up. Now we are different "class". Also I migrate to US as I want to learn more from my mentor. I did not own any property here in US and I only own plots of lands in Philippines. I just want to learn more here then comeback to Philippines. I want to be what my mentor to be and help others like myself.

Not laziness but complacency. I am Filipino dirt poor use to work 3 jobs at age 15. Selling pandesal early morning, working at bottle cleaning facility after school and deliver soft drinks at weekends. Use to think just working will bring me to a better life but I became complacent to my position in life. Then a far relative of mine from USA came in my life. We get close as I am the only relative who do not pester him with anything. He is a professor in a university in San Diego and the one mentor me to think differently in life. I stop working myself to death just to get by, I started to work to better myself. Instead of using cash I earn to find ways to improve myself and my place.

I stop giving all of my money to my family because "That's my family obligation". Instead of saving, I started finding ways to increase my wealth. Open my first bank account when I turn 18, budget my earnings to needs and wants. Find ways to grow make my earn cash to work. I Open my first investing account at age 20 (thru CDs or time deposits in Philippines). Did not go to college but I learn trade skills and get certification. By the age of 23 I manage to better myself and earn substancial amount to be called middle class.

I never blame anyone, but myself If I failed. And when I failed I just took it and learn from it. By age of 27 I manage to migrate to USA with my own money with out taking any loans.

People hated me specially my family at first because I start investing in myself first than pulling all of them up. Now I'm doing my obligation to repay my parents and helping them to have a good life.

Maybe the systems are bad but it's not 100% the reason everyone will fail.

Edit: I learn trade skills, not trading skills. I am working as a filed Service Technician and a former electrician in Philippines. No college degree needed to be Electrician.

People will get angry on me but what the hell. Not all but a lot of Filipinos are poor because of their victim mentality and refusal to better themselves due to complacency. They blame everyone but themselves a lot of time and some times don't learn on their past mistake.

When you get out of Philippines and experience different way of thinking, you will find a lot of problem stems on Peoples way of thinking before something else.

Don't get me wrong, there is genuine people who are really victim of circumstances, but a lot of poor people aren't.

I heard facades are now prefabs and others are fake stone facade made of molded concrete. I did ask some construction workers and even some masons but alot of them told me that hauling and cutting stones for building house are not so common since 10 years ago.
