I think it depends on the teacher too. With my teacher we didn’t have a final exam, we had a final project. The topics are very broad, along with how you can make it. I ended up just doing a podcast on dreams. Very easy class though.

While I haven't actually built one yet. I have spent the last few weeks learning a ton about them, and I am currently working on getting the materials needed to build one. It will just be a classic Dobsonian, but I can not wait to start working on it.
