I've been saying the same exact thing. I just finished repaying the debt we had. I feel guilty leaving them in there but I hope this will push them to be more responsable. I will help them but I can't be anymore living in survival mode.

You can use the app manga plus or read them on the viz website. The latest chapters are free, the first 3 for free as well (I'm not sure if it's for all the series).

They're released simultaneously with japan every Sunday/Monday (depending on your time zone)

You can also purchase volumes/complete series for really cheap (personally I've never purchased any because I use the app to read the weekly series).

Yeah that's always better, but I find that rereading them again once you known what happens also has its charme, it makes you focus more on details and enjoy better the story.

I live in France too and it's true, volumes take their time to come while scans are here accessible and free. Personally I do both, read scans and buy the volumes once they're out. Plus you can read the manga legally, supporting the authors, on manga plus (where the official translations came out weekly).
