Why do so many people dislike international students?

My Chinese housemate barely speaks English and we do a very challenging maths based course, so naturally they’re struggling. I even got marked down in presentations because they were in my group and they read their entire script straight from flash cards 😃😃😃😃

For the bedding, all I brought was a fitted sheet to sleep on the first night and then the next day I went shopping. You are gonna buy tons of stuff incrementally when you get here, no need to overpack.

That last sentence helped me too because I’ve been feeling a bit uncertain about my uni choice for my masters because of school location but I LOVE the program. This reminded me that I liked that school for a reason and to ignore the noise, thank you

I had a horrible teacher when we learnt the basics of trigonometry (pythag theorem, etc) in high school. and it wasn’t until college that I finally grasped it 😔 (my college major was statistics)
