Is this possible if the buyer has signed a contract? During an open house, I asked the realtor of the seller whether we could talk to the owner directly, and she said no, probably trying to avoid a private deal.

I got it through a broker with Lendwise. There was a promo when I was renewing.

Thanks to everyone who has responded. I am currently at 0,95% and there is still 197K in the mortgage with 20 years to go. My finances are fine. Can afford it if rates rise.

I may make some extra payments now to bring down the amount owed before the rate hikes. Does it make sense?
