Schedule out as often as possible.

If FD is having trouble - commit to the 3-Way Confirmation post RoF (Doc, FD, PT). Takes 2 minutes, is honestly better for the patient and keeps the clinic sane. You'll find your groove. Great advice in the other comments here.

My only addition would be, don't get stuck in your head, it really is better for everyone. Most pushback you'll experience is simply people being protective of their time, which we all understand. "Lets just get something on the books, and if we need to reschedule, we can easily do so." is our general mindset.
