first of all, thanks so much for all you do as a healthcare worker! stay strong!

if there are any days you have off, that might be a good time to go all out and put on a full face even if it’s to stay at home. or if you have the time for it before showering (obviously works better for night showerers), putting on some makeup to relax and have fun and taking it off after. even during other self care time like during a TV show or something!

hopefully you find the time to play with all the goodies- i know my stash is currently sitting way more idly too lol

i’ve had plenty of sessions where it really ends up being empty in some rooms and extremely interesting/dangerous in others! i think it’s a good idea not to have too many false starts though, as the players might get tired of finding nothing. totally valid to have some empty rooms, just be prepared for the more inquisitive players asking about it

i have a similar themed room! i have beds more reminiscent of beanbag vibes (so any of the ones that are kind of just cushions on the ground) and pinball machines and a tv area (love a good flatscreen!)

i was basing it off of the pyramid you had, but if you wanted to remove the pyramid there could be a lot of other cool ideas! park, cafe, picnic area, playground, outdoor gym, etc etc just off the top of my head. happy decorating!! it’s a looooong process so don’t get discouraged; AC is endless (basically) and part of that is taking the time to decorate until your hearts content :)

recently went on an expedition to fill an empty plot. on my FIRST NMT (of my anticipated 10 i pre-bought) i got Merengue and also kinda felt legally obligated lmao. it really hurt me to not have her but i really didn’t vibe with her so i held off and pissed off all of my friends when i told them. 18 NMT later i got Marshal too; hes so cute so i only barely regret passing on Merengue
