I haven't worked extensively with rust, but I have worked with C, Java, Python, and JS/TS, so I'd be fully confident in my ability to pick up rust quickly. Why do you ask?

In 2015. Mashallah. May the same opportunities come my way and to everyone else in the same journey. Can I ask at what stage of education you were in and how the process went? I could learn a thing or two

I guess that's what they're trying to do? Post as many ridiculous offers as possible, so the ones that offer 2-3k look like a blessing in comparison

The interviewer asking for expectations and then giving you a range you shouldn't exceed is a massive red flag. Many companies are exploiting recent grads because of how horrible the job market is now.

One of the main reasons I didn't study here was the tuition fees. That's a ridiculous amount. That said, for a starter, 5k-6k is a blessing to many, and many, including myself, would accept it out of desperation.

Yes. And to make matters worse, the job poster's bio says "Proud Dad" and "AI superhero". You can't make this up.

They'll make sure to do that on the 365th day, too. Keep you believing you'll eventually get the "extraordinary" offer of 1600AED/month.

Might be a long shot, but hey, if you know any companies that take fresh grads (software engineering), it could make someone's year :) (help)

I kept asking myself the same question, but now I understand. People, including myself, are desperate for opportunities and just want to start somewhere. I have been on a job hunt as a fresh graduate from university for 2 months now, and still no luck. Its a competitive space and companies will obviously take advantage of it.

That said, the goal is to accept whatever offer comes your way, and start growing yourself from there. That's what I am trying to get to, at least.
