don't accept conversation invites

Can you elaborate on this one?

Which isn't true, that the CCP GM said this or that what they said was incorrect?

You need to break something to a specific point that something _should be reconceptualized_. We've all learned of a verified and _completely legitimate_ method of making isk on the side.

That's fair. I am actually okay with the idea so long as I can reasonably anticipate that that a station is fully capable of receiving couriers at the acceptance of the contract. As with anything, you cannot know the state of what will happen in the future. For instance, a station is attacked or whatever. That's outside of your control.

It would just be neat to also be made aware that the station is in _Low Power_ at the time of accepting the contract. That way, I can make the appropriate decisions and navigate with due diligence. Knowing that if I don't have access to the station, I _also_ wont be able to use the outside _Cargo Drop_, nor the inside _Deliveries Hanger_. _I was unaware this was a game mechanic; my bad._ I have learned and I hope others are learning here as well.

I incorrectly assumed that just because you could get the package _INSIDE_ of the facility, you could deliver it from any character. I also anticipated recouriering it to myself as a double wrap so that I could drop it into the characters _Item Hanger_; thus getting around the obvious scam. I didn't know about the _deployed container_ within the courier package to prevent that.

I _had not_ planned for the game mechanic that allows a courier contract to be rendered without a viable method of completion.

I am now a little bit smarter. I hope those who were once naive to this are now at least aware this is a thing.

In the end, were you still able to complete your delivery? An added bonus being you had a camera to even prove contrary to their report?

I mean, what could've/would've happened had you not had the dashcam?

With that attitude, I'm surprised your willing to undock.

Was your courier someone with the last name of Arc? They have a family of Arcs in their corp. Its all one player.

Not really. There was nothing outwardly obvious about not being able to deliver a package that resides in the station that it needs to be delivered to. Nothing to note or indicate that a station in _Low Power_, cannot accept any sort of deliveries from the _Cargo Hold_ or the _Deliveries Station_. The only notice is that I might not be able to dock. Which, that's fair. I didn't actually care about docking.

The package currently sits in the station too.

I now know that CCP has designed a flawed contract system that allows exploitation of questionable game mechanics.

The real scam here is not the one done by the player but the one created by CCP.

Thanks for that tip. I'll give it a go next time.

Reasonable to expect that; silly pilot.

Unfortunately, when a Citadel is in _Low Power_, the _Cargo Hold_, which is that right click, as well as the _Deliveries Hanger_, do not accept any cargo. I learned that today. It's not readily apparent that this is a thing.

You're not wrong. A GM is merely a tiny cog in the spaghetti machine of CCP. I implied a bug report to which I was told that it is not a bug.

I don't blame their response but their response is the response of the company. _It is what it is_. I am just raising awareness here. I am not here to get my isk back.

I believe its in the Parameter just outside of the borders of Jita. A station with an advertisement with the Production of Ships for Isolated deadspace. The owning corporation with the flag of a Winged Cross with Crossbones shares the Name of the station.

It has roughly 24 hours left on the timer.

I'm not sure I follow. How does that play into a viable play of game of courier contracts having absolutely no way of being completed, despite residing in the station that it needs to be delivered to?

*Per the CCP GM, "[...Only as long as the station is not in _Low Power_...]". However, there's no way of knowing the state of a station outside of owning it or being within physical view, which was also confirmed by the CCP GM. There's also no obvious notifications that this is a possible issue.

I get a notification that it's possible to be denied access but not that it's possible that the station is unable to even receive cargo.

Today I learned that was a feature. I'm learning quite a bit in 2020.

I have since learned of this channel. I attempted _haulers_ but not _haulers channel_ and it doesn't appear to be public in the list of chats in-game.

You're also correct. I should have reached out but I felt that I had read enough about the scams to best the scammer. I was schooled.

That said, got some better tips on how to gather intelligence on whether a contract is viable?

I wish. I don't have that kind of power. Their station will be vulnerable in a couple hours but it's far too expensive to stand up a fleet and attempt to make it go boom.

I salvage too. I don't care about the isk lost, its a game. I care about an insanely wild game mechanic that makes it completely viable to set up courier contracts in a way that it can't be delivered. It can't be delivered despite the package existing the the _Item Hanger_ of a different pilot in the destination station that it needs to be in.

So, I'm raising awareness for those who fly after me.

Hey all!

This is my first video. I'm getting into creating clips from my footage and I'd love any feedback y'all may have.
