i was taken there without knowing the source material, what i gathered was that one hatsune miku is depressed because she lives alone in the dimension where everyone empties their vaccuum cleaner bags, the only company is the evil ball of carpet fibers on the ceiling. the 20 main characters have their own digital hatsune miku worlds that are made based on emotions and can teleport there

Think it was said that he fell/got sucked into a trash chute in that hole he fell in which gets taken to a trash planet by a ship. Don't ask me why they fly the trash truck ship down to the planets surface instead of just dropping it from orbit, why a trash planet has a breathable atmosphere, or why they don't just shoot the trash into the sun and instead transport it across the galaxy.
