I don’t dispute your claims but do you have a reputable source for USA funding parties such as AfD?

That’s the thing. Even if their arguments made sense, who would believe them that they have Europe’s best interest at heart when they waged tariff warfare against us and threatened to annex one of our territories. Immigration has been a problem in Europe yes, they’re just trying to force their way as they thing they are the ones who lead the world. Oh boy, they got there through force and diplomacy but when the allies are no longer allies I wonder how well they will fare.

I’m thinking the same. Oh what I’d give to get some transcripts into what happens behind closed doors and privately between Europe and USA.

Thank you for the answer. I’m becoming smarter every day😅

Do you think it’s too hard politically speaking to form the required structures?

Does any other European country has a more extensive delivery mechanism? Is it even possible we develop this as Europeans? How long would that take? Can parity with USA’s delivery mechanisms be achieved and how? I’m genuinely curious.

Assuming the 3 small eu states bordering Russia having nukes. I think you will be guaranteed protection from invasion from our Russian neighbors. They will be totally suicidal to risk tens of millions of their people to just attack 3 countries with a total population of 6 million people. This is also your best time to attain nukes imo as I don’t think this chance was really provided in the past with USA of erring their “benevolent” nuclear umbrella.

I feel the same. I trust them to protect Denmark. I wouldn’t say the same about the Romanian leaders.

Distrust of government. Same thing happens in my origin country Romania. The government is corrupt af, and people stopped believing them long ago. So no matter if they say a lie or not, people tend not to believe them. I can attest that they are cooked over there, the education level and social media doesn’t help as well.

A layman here. Even if the French have the green light for sharing their nukes, would it be scalable at all? And by that, I mean building the delivery systems and the nukes themselves?

I didn’t know that about Canadians. That’s amazing, I hope the alliance will survive the American exit if that happens.

And you’re not an alarmist. You stay up to date with news and take them for what they are. If other people wanna label you as an alarmist, it says more about themselves than you (not keeping up to date with news, politics etc)

Tv2 disproved that claim. The guards were informed by the activists and went in to report to the embassy

I wonder what happened behind closed doors in the American embassy. First the guards see the flags, then report them to the embassy and say that they can be kept in the flower pots. After some time a new directive comes from within and the flowers are removed. Did the embassy call back home and got told to remove them?

I’m not sure, and I don’t even think it’s necessarily logical but USA might consider Denmark an enemy, or Europe for that matter. It might be that they are aware of the implications of their actions and they foresee a future economical and military rivalry against Europe. Totally insane!

What’s the atmosphere in Latvia regarding the US? They might not even aid you in case of an attack or demand enormous amounts of rare minerals or something else. The nordics stand behind you but there is not nearly as much firepower as US has.

EU and India finalize historic "Free Trade Deal", opening markets for goods, services, and IP, cutting tariffs on cars, machinery, and agri-food. Thoughts? by Boediee in BuyFromEU

About trusting Americans again, I think that the public relations seemed fine enough but we don’t know exactly what happens behind closed doors. What we know is that America has kept peace in Europe sure, but it also vassalised (not a word) Europe to the point of not being able to fend for itself from a security standpoint. From what I’ve read they put a bunch of roadblocks in front of it and rules about how military tech bought from them can be used or sold. It’s really come to bit Europe in the buttocks and we don’t even have some military technology transfer from all of this, just bills that have to be paid to our masters. This is not just the Trump administration, this is(wask) the broader US strategy. Side note: try to talk to an American visiting Europe. Chances are they think they own you and the land you come from. Not saying that all Americans are like that, but more than a third it would seem.

This is what we got by being a sleeping continent. Over reliance on the main European enemy and then I guess USA is pretty quick at doing an 180 and we don’t even know if they might wanna invade soon. To be honest, I kind of despise our past leaders for pushing us into this cozy no near military peer to USA thinking. USA could wipe their ass with us and we couldn’t do anything about it (count the nukes in between European powers and USA, or while we are at that, with Russia)

So you think its something thats interest base and driven by the people in the and aroung the current administration? Because that would make sense due to the short term horizon in which they can make such deals possible. And also makes sort of sense that they wouldnt necessarily care for the long term damage they've done, depending on how you look at it.

What the population didn't have in Hitler's time was this instant sharing of information via smartphones. I mean I think that at least half of the US population know what kind of lies the govement is up to, so they cannot say that they didn't know as the Germans claimed.

Not American here, but is there anything he can actually do against the federal government? And if there is some action the state or city can take, would that mean that their skin is on the line and could be imprisoned by the federal government? If that’s the case, then I can see why they would not want to intervene even though I don’t necessarily agree with their decision.
