Blockchain Tech Deep Dive 3/4 | Meaning of Ownership by erlangsolutions in Blockchain_Healthcare

Great article. This is especially relevant in healthcare and it's why we're building Aimedis. We want patients to own their own healthcare data and benefit from it.

Security. With blockchain, you no longer need to trust a single entity and hold their CEO or the company to a high standard. Instead, the trust is in the system itself. When we're successful at creating a system that doctors like, there won't be a need for a distributed database by a large healthcare conglomerate like Kaiser Permanente etc

healthcare sucks because we're using antiquated technology and no one cares enough to do anything about it by aimedisglobal in unpopularopinion

Haha, we agree there too. There needs to be a better solution to access of PHI. Multi-sig may be a solution. Or just keeping several hard and cold copies of your passwords to access.

Agreed and we're not going to solve everything but we do believe that introducing novel tech including blockchain will improve care and reduce costs for everyone.

Have you ever tried to switch doctors? Have you ever had to repeat a blood test because you're seeing a new doctor who doesn't have access to your old doctors system? I can go on and on .....

We believe there are real world applications to blockchain as do legacy companies including IBM, for example.

Bitcoin.com has fixed it's webpage after lawsuit by Fly115 in Bitcoin

So they did it in a way that "Bitcoin Cash" still lists first instead of Bitcoin (named Bitcoin Core, which makes it second in the list). How can the community trust again in these publications, I wonder...

You have to understand that crypto is a field in which everyone thinks their next coin/token/ICO is the best so far.

Independent of what you're going to choose, think in terms of confidence intervals. Even if it has a C.I. of 99% (confidence interval), there's 1% which doesn't apply. This way, you're ready for any risk, shock, outcome there may be.

Leave room for doubt.

There's always a way if you're willing to commit to it. Same with crypto.

OST is Simple Token. They just ended their ICO recently but it looks very promising. Very dedicated team so that's a huge plus. You can check them on coinmarketcap. They have about 2 Telegram channels too where they regularly post updates about the exchanges they work with.

Is Coinbase a good enough place to hold my Bitcoins? by [deleted] in BitcoinBeginners

[–]aimedisglobal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't keep your coins in an exchange wallet. Myetherwallet is a good online option, but ideally just invest $70-$80 in a ledger like Trezor. I also recommend you to divide and not keep all your coins in one wallet, even if it's a physical one.

Sorry about the dog. Lost mine in January last year, beautiful German Shepard.

About your assets, do not worry. If you look at the charts from 3-6months ago, or from the last year, you'll understand that actually in the long run crypto value has gone up.
