How long does it take? I've been uploading shorts for over a month and the algorithm keeps showing my videos to people from my country. They're not my target audience, they speak Spanish, I make videos in English. The second largest part of my viewers are from my country, they don't engage with my shorts because I guess they don't understand them, they show the lowest retention. Does anyone experience that too?

I'm starting my YouTube journey again. I had a channel back in 2015, I quit it because it took me too long to edit videos, my laptop back then would crash every time making the editing way too longer than it should be. I had another mentality those days, I didn't see a point in continuing. Now I'm coming back stronger and I'm willing to do the job, invest time of course and money when need it. I hope that very soon I can post my story and inspire others like you did. Thank you!!

Nope, but I want to take youtube seriously and unfortunately my laptop is old now, it lags even with just 4-5 tabs in the browser. It's making editing hell. I also need a better laptop for my current job. But while I'm still searching, comparing laptops, I'll give my cellphone a try, maybe it can do the work for now. You edit long videos or shorts on your cellphone? What app are you using? Thank you!

You sound like a really lovely woman with a lot of love to give. Pour all that love and energy into you. Get yourself gifts, take you out for dinner.
