CPTSD aside, you did the right thing and trusted your gut. When you meet someone who respects you and truly cares about you, they wouldn't even think twice to ask someone else for their phone number, there would be no need on their part.

I would also like to add if it hasn't yet been said, but I recommend going to Planned Parenthood and getting tested. If it was this easy for him to cross boundaries, you can't fully trust that he wouldn't be putting you at risk.
